New game login question

Doe anyone know thwe deal on logging into the game? Will it be a download or will it run off the software we already have? Will we need to make new accts?

If you have updated to the latest patch while the game still was live the client will work.
The loginservers are already up, which means that you can already test creating toons.

Thanks. I tried downloading Mortal, but after sitting thru the many patches it said I was missing a file and should try reloading. But I don't want to sit thru it all again so I'll go back to waiting on SB.

Yeah, i've heard alot of people having troubel installing the game, their forums are filled with posts about that.
For me it worked right away, but i too wouldnt go thru the patching part again affraid

I'll try clicking it every once in a while in hopes that it will get picked up if a new patch is put in. I don't mind waiting on one patch, but the army of them is a little much. I did get the SB log on working so that's a plus!!!

maybe you`ll have to update your directX to version 9.0c - at least it`s worth a try

Yeah, i'll post here right away if i find a solution, an irl friend of mine just got the same error.

You need to download the latest updates from microsoft to get the latest frame .net versions,
then you should be able to run it.
Worked for my friend who had the same problem.
